VCS: new editors and other news in 2022

Vegetation Classification and Survey, IAVS’ gold open access journal, welcomes two new Associate Editors:

Further, we welcome four new members of our Editorial Board:

  • Vanessa Leite Rezende, Universidade Federal de Lavras (UFLA), Lavras, Brazil

For 2022, three new Special Collections of articles have been launched, and the submission of abstracts for consideration is still possible:

  • African vegetation studies (edited by Reginald Tang Guuroh, Miguel Alvarez, Leslie Brown, Manfred Finckh, Ute Schmiedel, Gaolathe Tsheboeng & Jürgen Dengler)
  • Grasslands of Asia (edited by Jürgen Dengler, Idoia Biurrun, Pavel Krestov, Alireza Naqinezhad & Arkadiusz Nowak)
  • Neotropical vegetation (edited by Gwendolyn Peyre, Bianca Andrade, Alejandro Velazquez & Melisa Giorgis)

Finally, yet importantly, it should be highlighted that thanks to the generous support of IAVS papers of first authors who are IAVS members will be exempt from article processing charges (APCs), if the original submission takes place until 31 December 2022.…
