The post provided by Idoia Biurrun (Chief Editor of Palaearctic Grasslands)
This post refers to the new double issue 54-55 of Palaearctic Grasslands.
The new issue of Palaearctic Grasslands is out, and you can read the complete issue here.
This new issue comes with several announcements, such as the preliminary calls for the Field Workshop and the Eurasian Grassland Conference that will be held next year in the South-eastern Alps and Hungary, respectively, and the Talk Grasslands for this winter, as well as calls and deadline extensions of EDGG Special Features in several journals.
PG54-55 also includes a detailed report on the 17th Eurasian Grassland Conference held in Tolosa (Basque Country, Spain) with a post-conference excursion in Navarre in September 2022, and, something that is always present in our journal, very nice photographs, both the winners of the photo competition in “Plant species richness” and the pictures included in a nice Photo Story from Gotland, and all pictures scattered along the issue.
Last but not least, in this issue, you can find a new call for donations to the EDGG Fund for Ukrainian Scientists, which has already collected almost 3,000 euros that are used to fund projects from Ukrainian grassland scientists. The first four funded projects are described in this new call.
