JVS/AVS Photo Competition

Do you want to have your photo on the 2022 cover of the Journal of Vegetation Science or Applied Vegetation Science? We invite IAVS members to submit photos, of which one will be selected for the 2022 cover of each journal.

To participate in our photo competition, please upload a maximum of three square format photos to an online album at https://photos.app.goo.gl/xaYDWKwikuvaBPGM9 by 30 November 2021. For each photo, provide a brief description, author’s name and e-mail. Use the oak wooded meadow photo as a format example. If the photo relates to some of the articles published recently in JVS or AVS, mention it too. However, we also accept photos unrelated to the published articles. The main selection criteria will be aesthetic impression and whether the picture tells an interesting story about vegetation (its diversity, dynamics, management or restoration) or the ways how we study it.
